AEM 6.2 New Features

6.2 features & its Highlights:-

1. UI interface enhancements.
2. Support for Mongo DB Enterprise 3.2 is added as a part of repository enhancement.
3. Procedural failover support is added for cold standby tarmk architecture.
4. Note:- Currently it is manual. Click here to see how to setup cold standby in aem.
5. Priority-Queuing configuration is introduced to prioritize urgent activation with low priority activations.
6. Package replication can be done from package manager itself. No need to activate individual pages.
7. Allows Text fragments, like content fragments concept in portal i.e. diff contents on a page.
